Saw a Hot Chocolate 'vert yesterday on Rte 44 in Canton. Brown convertible top, too. Very unique! Sadly, the top was up...

I followed a vert S R53 with CT license plate 'PIEMAN' in the Wethersfield area tonight, during a weird thunderstorm after the snowstorm. I then blew past him letting him hear my BOV, looked like he had the window down

Southbury is becoming quite the mini magnet! I was up there yesterday doing some work and spotted 6 of them in a 3hr time and all maybe 5 miles apart. List of minis spotted

1. Blue R50 with I think konig rewind wheels on it
2. EB/W s with NY plates
3. CR/B R56s I have talked to this guy don't think he has signed up here yet. His wife drives
a LY/W R50
4. PW/B s
5. CR/B s
6. CR/B s with black wheels and JCW bodykit (i think)

all in all a good day for spotting Minis

As for window being down - HA - if the TOP wasn't down, he ain't really motoring!

And that storm - AMAZING! Our snowy woodlands were lit up with those huge lightning flashes - very rare for a snow thunder/lightning storm.

I spotted a PS/B R56 today in seymour at a commuter lot. All the trim rings have been blacked out. Has a Inskip license plate frame.

So who does it belong to? Gotta be someone here.

So there's this BRG MC that I see quite often on the way to work. Older dude, never looks at me or waves.

This morning BRG MC Dude was in front of me at the DD drive thru in Granby. So I bought him his breakfast. He was very friendly! Leaned out his window and said, "That's so awesome, thanks, great lookin MINI ya got there!"

See? Not all nonwavers are hopeless cases.

There was a line so I had time to tell them that I wanted to pay for his stuff. It was funny cuz when DD employees saw what happened, they all said they wanted to get a MINI. One of them even said, "I drive a Jeep - no one would ever buy my breakfast!"

Saw a nice CR R53 with shelby stripes today on the way to work, turning into Trap Falls Road. Saw it again after work at like 4:30ish coming back down Trap Falls Road. Anyone? Never seen this particular car before around here.

Does anyone here remember my furnace issues, or lack of a working furnace? I have the super-duper save the earth - geothermal furnace, which has not worked correctly since it was installed years ago. After too many repairs, I am at the point where I need a new unit. I have been back and forth with the manufacture and the my new hvac guy. So today, I am delivering some beautiful shrubs to a client, and I drive by the hvac guys place.

What do I see? Mellow Yellow R56

I stopped, mainly to check on the install of my new unit, but we talked MINI. He likes to motor & and he likes food. Great combination, ha? Sounds like NEMINI material. I gave him the info, and he wants to mod.
