Why: It's the holiday's ....need more of a reason than that?


1. Bring a dish of some kind of food, and a desert. We'll be doing this buffet style, with everyone bringing something. We'll have the plates and what not, so bring yer food and appetite! Please PM me with what you are bringing and I will add it to the bottom of the post.

2. There is more than enough room for people to spend the night if needed. You just need to bring an air mattress and blankies/pillows.

3. If you want to "party" feel free! Bring a bottle or beer and your favorite mixer. We've done this at past parties and it's worked very well.

4. We will have a special surprise involving...hm.....can't tell you or it wouldn't be a surprise!

5. Oh, almost forgot...the house we are having it in doesn't have much furniture so we are also asking that you bring a folding chair, or a something to sit on. A bean bag perhaps? If you happen to have a card table, or a longer folding table you can bring, please let either Manny or I know.

We know this is a departure of years past, but we feel this will be much more fun. Since everyone is having a tough time right now, we are trying to keep costs down and the fun factor up!

GIFT EXCHANGE GUIDLINES

Bring one gift for each person who will be participating.

Limit the cost to $10.

Must have the word MINI on the packaging, but may NOT be a MINI Cooper related gift. Meaning...no little MINI matchbox cars, or a MINI keychain.

Wrap and bring it with you. Do not let anyone know what you brought..makes it much more fun!

Hey Scooter, Its at the house that I'm staying in right now. I'm house sitting for a good friend of mine.(He is trying to sell it) But the way things are right now it don't look good. He is asking 800 thousand. Its a very large house with a lot of rooms that are empty. Except for a dining room set and a baby grand piano in the dining room. there is a lot of room to have a party. That's why i figured that it would be perfect for a bunch of Mini-Acks to get together. There are plenty of bedrooms for those that might want to sleep over till the next day. You just need to bring something to sleep on.Alli and i will work out the details as far as what to do about food and entertainment.This house has an Awesome VERY large kitchen.So come one and come all. I'm looking forward to seeing my old Friends and meeting new ones.

Thanks, Manny.  That sounds wonderful, and how generous of your friend to offer his house for the party!  Please tell him thank you.  I feel his pain - we want to sell our house too, but we are waiting it out at this point.  The market is tough right now!

Hope the party is super fun...I know it will be.  It's really far from my house though, so I will have to live vicariously through you on this one!
